“The Alice: An Immersive Cocktail Experience” is an Alice in Wonderland-themed event described as “the tea party to end all tea parties!” It’s coming to a secret location in Pittsburgh in November.

It’s billed as “the tea party to end all tea parties” — only it’s more of a cocktail party.

Figuring the middle of pandemic is as good a time as any to go down the rabbit hole and through the looking glass, the team behind The Wizard’s Den and Beyond Cinema is creating an immersive Alice in Wonderland themed event in Pittsburgh in November.

It’s called “The Alice: An Immersive Cocktail Experience” and is being held in an, as yet, undisclosed location somewhere in the heart of Pittsburgh.

While no evidence exists that Lewis Carroll was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, as some have suspected, when he wrote his trippy children’s tale in 1865, the event is being described as “a 90-minute alternate reality experience in Wonderland.”

Guest will be invited to create their own “enchanted” cocktails under the supervision of that mythical mixologist The Mad Hatter. It all takes place in a fantasy world where one can follow in Alice’s footsteps and play croquet with a flamingo, paint the roses red and scarf down “Eat Me” cake.

“The Alice: An Immersive Cocktail Experience” takes place from Nov. 15 to Dec. 13.
