Allegheny County officials on Friday released a map showing where residents who have tested positive for covid-19 live in the county.

The color-coded map can be found on the county’s website.

Of the 158 people who have tested positive, 59 live in the City of Pittsburgh, the highest total of any municipality in the county.

McCandless had the next highest total with eight. All other municipalities that reported cases had five or fewer. Forty-seven of the county’s 130 municipalities had reported at least one case as of Friday.

The county is also keeping tabs on the total number of cases, hospitalizations, deaths and age and gender breakdowns of those who have tested positive.

Officials said they are working to provide further demographic details for the positive cases in each municipality.

Statewide positive cases eclipsed 2,000 on Friday, with the health department reporting 531 new cases. There are 2,218 cases in Pennsylvania, and 22 people have died, including two in Allegheny County.
