Allegheny County reports 19 new coronavirus cases, 1 death

Allegheny County health officials on Tuesday reported one new coronavirus-related death, 19 new cases, and no new hospitalizations.

County data show that of the 2,027 cases, 1,889 are confirmed and 128 are probable. Of the county’s 169 deaths, 157 are confirmed and 12 are probable.

All deaths occurred in people between the ages of 42 and 103, with 84 being the median age, according to the county.

A total of 351 covid-19 patients in Allegheny County have been hospitalized, according to county data.

Allegheny County moved to the green phase of Gov. Tom Wolf’s reopening plan on Friday.
