Two more Allegheny County residents have died from the coronavirus, bringing the countywide total to 21, health department officials reported Monday.

All of those people were over the age of 65.

The Allegheny County Health Department also reported 19 new cases of covid-19 Monday, which puts the countywide total at 876 since March 14, when the first case was reported.

Of that total, 464 people, or 53%, are female and 412, or about 47%, are male.

Most cases continue to fall in the 25- to 49-year-old age group, according to an age breakdown provided by the Allegheny County Health Department.

Of those who tested positive for the virus, 134 have been hospitalized at some point in recent weeks.
