Allegheny County reports 3 new covid-19 cases, no new deaths

Allegheny County health officials reported three new covid-19 cases, no new hospitalizations and no new deaths on Sunday.

The county’s coronavirus total now stands at 2,079, according to county health officials. Of that total, 1,946 are confirmed cases and 133 are probable cases.

The total number of hospitalizations remain at 357. Deaths remain at 173.

Of the total number of deaths, 161 are confirmed and 12 are probable. Those who have died are between the ages of 42 and 103, with the median age being 84, county health officials said.

Of the total reported cases, 54% have been women and 46% have been men.

More than 40,000 people have been tested for the coronavirus in Allegheny County.
