Allegheny County reports 7 new covid-19 cases, no new deaths

Allegheny County health officials reported seven new covid-19 cases, no new hospitalizations and no new deaths on Monday.

The county’s coronavirus total now stands at 2,086, which includes 1,953 confirmed cases and 133 probable cases.

Health care workers account for 14% of the county’s total cases.

The total number of hospitalizations remain at 357, county health officials said. Deaths remain at 173. Of the deaths, 161 are confirmed to be linked to the coronavirus and 12 are probable, county health officials said.

Women make up 54% of the total number of cases.

More than 40,700 Allegheny County residents have been tested for the virus.
