Allegheny County health officials reported an additional 46 cases of covid-19 Sunday morning.
That figure is down from the 61 new cases reported from Friday to Saturday. In all, county health officials have confirmed 265 cases.
The cases are split evenly between genders: 133 females and 132 males.
The age breakdown of cases is as follows:
• 0-4: 1 (less than 1%)
• 5-12: 1 (less than 1%)
• 13-18: 5 (2%)
• 19-24: 28 (11%)
• 25-49: 120 (45%)
• 50-64: 74 (28%)
• 65+: 36 (14%)
The biggest jump is in the 25-49 age group, which registered 20 new confirmed cases.
Covid-19 is responsible for two deaths in the county, and 35 of the 265 patients have required hospitalization.
