Allegheny County reported 10 new coronavirus cases and Westmoreland County added two, according to information released Friday.

The 10 new cases bring Allegheny County’s total to 28. Five of those are hospitalized and the rest are in isolation at home.

Westmoreland County reported two new cases, for a total of four.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health reported 83 additional cases Friday afternoon, bringing the state’s total 268.

Beaver and Washington counties reported three cases each, bringing the total in Western Pennsylvania to 38.

There were no other details given about the new cases in Western Pennsylvania. The Allegheny County Health Department said they are continuing to trace contact these individuals may have had with others.
