Jeannette Funnen, 32, and Daemon Klingensmith, 23, were found in Tennessee on Tuesday.

An 8-week-old baby taken from UPMC Children’s Hospital by his parents five days ago has been found.

Ambrose Klingensmith was found with his parents, 32-year-old Jeannette Funnen, 32, and Daemon Klingensmith, 23, West Mifflin police said.

The parents are in custody and the baby is in the care of a doctor, police said.

The family was found in Marshall County, Tenn., around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police began a manhunt for the family after the parents took the baby from the hospital’s emergency room on Sept. 26 before he could be examined by a doctor. Hospital staff reported the baby had bruising consistent with finger marks and were concerned his injuries were the result of abuse.

Authorities said at the time of the disappearance that Funnen had two other children removed from her custody in past and has a history of suicide attempts and providing authorities with a “false narrative” of her family history.

Police said the parents will be extradited back to Pennsylvania.
