“The Lion King” made its’ debut at the Benedum Center on Wednesday night.
On Friday, the Trib got to go behind the scenes of the hit musical to speak with actress Nia Holloway who plays Nala, along with puppet master Michael Reilly, and actor Spencer Plachy, who performs as Scar.
The musical continues until Sept. 29, 2019.Seats are still available, although limited, for several performances during the show’s remaining stay in Pittsburgh.
