Carnegie police seek thief who stole from unlocked cars

Carnegie police are looking for the man behind a spate of thefts from locked cars.

The man went through several unlocked cars in the Rosslyn Heights neighborhood early Monday morning, stealing money, wallets and other valuables, police said.

Several security cameras caught the thief on video, but his face cannot be clearly seen.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 412-279-4589.

Police urge residents to keep their cars locked and remain vigilant.
