A Pittsburgh man associated with the GBK street gang pleaded guilty in Pittsburgh federal court to selling or distributing drugs in the Greenway Projects in the Pittsburgh’s West End.

On Monday, Allen Green, 40, of Pittsburgh withdrew a not guilty plea and pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess or distribute 280 grams of crack cocaine. The plea happened in front of U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Schwab in Pittsburgh.

The plea involves evidence from a 2017 wiretap of the GBK street gang by the FBI and Drug Enforcement Administration.

Green’s attorney, who court records list as Brian Aston, wasn’t available for comment.

Judge Schwab scheduled Green’s sentencing for May 19.

Pending sentencing, the court continued the defendant’s detention.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Tonya Sulia Goodman and Yvonne M. Saadi are prosecuting this case on behalf of the government.

The FBI and DEA jointly led the multi-agency investigation, which also included the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office, State Police, Robinson and Stowe township police departments, state Attorney General’s Office and the Wilkinsburg Borough and McKees Rocks police departments.
