A Pittsburgh Department of Public Works employee was injured after a rollover crash Friday on Merchant Street between Martindale Street and Ridge Avenue on the North Side.

A Pittsburgh Public Works Department employee suffered minor injuries after a rollover crash Friday morning involving a city truck.

Emergency crews found the truck on its side at about 7:30 a.m. on Merchant Street between Martindale Street and Ridge Avenue on the North Side, public safety spokesman Chris Togneri said.

The top of the truck hit a train trestle, causing the crash. Two city workers were inside, and one was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and the other wasn’t hurt, Togneri said.
