Cops: Man shot in chest crashes car near McKees Rocks police station

Police are investigating after the driver of a crashed car in McKees Rocks was found to have been shot in the chest on April 14, 2020.

A man is in critical condition after being shot in the chest and crashing his car near the McKees Rocks police station late Tuesday, Allegheny County police said.

Emergency crews responded around 11:30 p.m. after a Ford Taurus crashed in front of the station along Bell Avenue.

Inside, they said they found a 24-year-old man with bullet wounds to the chest. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

The homicide unit is investigating.
