Pittsburgh police are searching for suspects in connection with a double shooting Wednesday night in the city’s Spring Hill neighborhood.

Police responding to a ShotSpotter alert in the 100 block of Rhine Place shortly after 11 p.m. found two people outside an apartment building suffering from gunshot wounds, according to city police spokeswoman Cara Cruz.

A woman who was shot in the arm and leg and a man with a gunshot wound to the stomach were transported to a local hospital for treatment, Cruz said.

The victims, whose names were not released, were in stable condition.
