Route 28 southbound by Route 8 off-ramp has been reopened after a crash Sunday

Route 28 southbound at the Route 8 off-ramp has been reopened in Etna after a multi-vehicle crash Sunday.

Allegheny County dispatch said the incident took place around 4:55 p.m. Traffic was rerouted around the area for about an hour before it was reopened. Dispatchers said responders cleared the scene shortly before 6 p.m.

County officials said via Twitter that people involved in the crash were injured. It was not clear how many people or the severity of the injuries.
