Emergency crews respond to a crash on Route 28 near Aspinwall, as shown in this image from a PennDOT traffic camera from shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday.

Authorities responded to a crash that briefly snarled traffic Thursday afternoon in the northbound lanes of Route 28 just before the Aspinwall exit.

No one was injured.

Initial reports indicated the incident was a multi-vehicle crash shortly before 3 p.m. A school bus was spotted pulled over at the scene.

An Allegheny County 911 shift commander said Thursday evening said it was a single-vehicle crash involving a truck. The bus was not involved in the crash, the shift commander said.

Crews cleared the wrecked truck and reopened both lanes within about 30 minutes.
