A dirt bike rider was killed Tuesday after colliding with a parked vehicle in Pittsburgh’s Hill District, public safety authorities said.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Derelle Williams, 32, of Pittsburgh.

Police responded to the incident just after 7:30 p.m. along Milwaukee Street at Bryn Mawr Road in the Upper Hill.

Officers said Williams was not wearing a helmet but was alert, conscious and walking around after the accident.

Williams failed to make the turn from Bryn Mawr onto Milwaukee, and hit a curb and guardrail, police said.

He was taken to the hospital where his condition deteriorated and he later died.
