Driver takes out utility pole in Stanton Heights crash
A driver was injured after sheering a utility pole in Pittsburgh’s Stanton Heights neighborhood.
Officers responded to the single-vehicle crash in the 4200 block of Stanton Avenue around 2:17 a.m., a police spokeswoman said.
The car had crashed into a utility pole, bringing down wires and pulling a utility box off a house.
The driver was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Stanton Avenue was closed but has since reopened.
Police were continuing to investigate.
