Driver of suspected stolen vehicle from Ross crashes in Pittsburgh

A driver police said was operating a vehicle possibly stolen from Ross Township crashed into another vehicle in Pittsburgh.

City police were notified about a possible stolen vehicle heading inbound from Ross shortly before 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Authorities said officers observed the suspected vehicle run a red light and strike another vehicle at the intersection of Allegheny and Pennsylvania avenues.

Authorities said no one from either vehicle was seriously hurt.

City police are investigating the crash. Ross police arrested the driver and passenger of the suspected stolen vehicle.

No further information was released.
