Drug trafficking, gun get Pittsburgh man almost 6 years in prison

A Pittsburgh man was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh Wednesday to almost six years in federal prison for trafficking drugs and having a firearm.

Senior U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Schwab imposed the sentence on Daelon Hill-Johnson, 21, for possession with intent to distribute the synthetic painkiller fentanyl and possession of a firearm while trafficking drugs.

Hill-Johnson also was ordered to serve three years supervised release once he completes his prison sentence.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Heidi M. Grogan and Jerome A. Moschetta prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.

United States Attorney Scott Brady commended the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, and the Wilkinsburg Police Department for the investigation leading to man’s arrest.
