Federal agents Thursday announced that they are searching for a fourth suspect connected with a major drug trafficking sweep in Western Pennsylvania this week.

The FBI said Michael Rose is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone who knows his whereabouts should contact police or FBI’s Pittsburgh office at 412-432-4000 immediately.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for Western District of Pennsylvania had said Wednesday that Rose was one of 30 people federal agents and local police arrested on charges of trafficking heroin, cocaine, crack and marijuana. A federal grand jury in Pittsburgh charged 33 people total in three indictments. The office said at the time that Justin Law, James Wells and Delbert Pate had not been arrested. Those three remained at large Thursday, according to the FBI.

It wasn’t immediately clear why the U.S. Attorney’s Office reported that Rose was arrested Wednesday but the FBI said he was being sought Thursday. A spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office directed questions to the FBI. An FBI spokeswoman didn’t immediately respond to messages seeking comment.

Rose is a convicted felon prohibited from possessing a firearm. In addition to drug charges, he faces weapons charges that put him in prison for life if convicted, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
