A federal jury in Pittsburgh deliberated for six hours on Wednesday before finding a Beaver Falls man guilty of violating five drug laws.
According to federal records, Anthony Taylor was accused of a conspiracy that sold almost 18 ounces of cocaine and three-quarters of an ounce of the synthetic painkiller fentanyl in Beaver Falls.
He was arrested at his Ninth Avenue residence in 2017.
At that time, authorities allegedly seized fentanyl, cocaine, packaging material, a digital scale, more than $10,000 in cash, and cellular telephones.
U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Schwab scheduled sentencing for June 11.
Taylor could be sentenced to at least five years in prison.
The state Attorney General’s Office, in conjunction with the Beaver Falls Police Department, the New Brighton Police Department, and the state police, investigated.
