Fire destroys Forward Township home

A Forward Township home was destroyed by fire on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019.

A man inside a Forward Township house was able to get out when it caught fire early Sunday morning.

The fire at 606 Munger Lane was reported around 5:30 a.m.

The house was destroyed.

Two neighboring homes were damaged, the Trib’s news partner, WPXI-TV, reported.

A representative of the Forward Township fire department could not immediately be reached for comment.

The fire was under investigation.
