A fire gutted a home along Ridge Avenue in North Braddock and damaged at least one nearby home Thursday afternoon.
Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV reported the fire tore through the home at 1501 Ridge Avenue shortly after 3:30 p.m.
No one was reported injured but firefighters were struggling with the afternoon’s oppressive heat and humidity while battling the blaze.
It was not known if anyone was home when the fire broke out.
