A Moon-based band is in tune with the Christmas season — and giving back to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.

Chip & The Charge Ups has released a new song, “Black and Gold Christmas” to celebrate Pittsburgh pride designed and T-shirt that goes along with the song. All proceeds from T-shirt sales will be donated to the food bank. Shirts can be purchased at the food bank or thechargeups.com store.

“Back in July, it just kind of hit me that it would be really cool to do a Pittsburgh-themed Christmas song,” said Chip Dominick of Chip & The Charge Ups, who appeared on this week’s Food Podcast. “Before I knew it, we were in the midst of summer with a Pittsburgh-themed song that we couldn’t wait to get out there and give as a gift to our city.”
