A Georgia man admitted using counterfeit credit cards to fraudulently obtain cash advances from a Pittsburgh bank.
Khambrel Coleman, 33, plead guilty in federal court to bank fraud charges.
Authorities said he committed the fraud November 2016 through Feb. 3, 2017.
One of his illegal transactions involved the use of a credit card belonging to a Pittsburgh resident in an attempt to unlawfully obtain cash from a Citizens Bank in Pittsburgh’s Shadyside neighborhood.
Authorities did not disclose how much money was sought or how much was possibly acquired during that timeline.
U.S. District Judge Joy Conti scheduled sentencing for Oct. 23.
The U.S. Secret Service conducted the investigation.
