Make it a movie night in the park.
City of Pittsburgh Office of Special Events is offering nearly 100 evenings of free films in 10 outdoor locations this summer for “Dollar Bank Cinema in the Park.”
Grab a blanket or portable chair, pack a picnic and enjoy films such as “ Dumbo,” “Aquaman,” “Captain Marvel,” “Incredibles 2” “Mary Poppins Returns,” and of course, the Fred Rogers documentary, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor,” as well as other popular movies.
Locations include Highland Park, Riverview Park, Flagstaff Hill in Schenley Park, Schenley Plaza, Brookline Memorial Park, Arsenal Park in Lawrenceville, Grandview Park in Mt. Washington, McBride Park in Lincoln Place and West End/Elliott Overlook or the newest one – Chartiers Playground in Chartiers City.
The outdoor movies run June 2 through Aug. 30.
Inclement weather may cause cancellations.
