A Greenway Boy Killas (GBK) gang member was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh to serve 18 months in federal prison for heroin distribution conspiracy.
Senior U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Schwab imposed the sentence on Rashem Littleberry, 29, of Pittsburgh.
According to prosecutors, in 2017, the FBI and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration initiated a wiretap investigation, primarily targeting the GBK street gang and drug trafficking in and around an area known as the Greenway Projects.
The projects are in the West End of Pittsburgh.
The wiretap revealed that, from around November 2017 to about June 2018, Rashem Littleberry and others conspired to distribute heroin.
The court was also told that Littleberry faces a state homicide charge from a fatal shooting in Crafton Heights.
