Two shooting victims drove to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh early Tuesday morning, according to the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety.

Both are in stable condition.

They told police they were sitting in a vehicle on Paulson Avenue when several males approached.

The driver, a 40-year-old man, got out of the vehicle and the other men started shooting.

The driver was shot multiple times. His passenger, a 38-year-old woman, was shot once in the leg.

Police recovered shell casings from the 1300 block of Paulson Avenue.

A bullet-riddled SUV was towed away from the hospital, according to Tribune-Review news partner WPXI.

Police are investigating.
