Former Vice President Joe Biden will travel to Pittsburgh on Election Day, Nov. 5, according to a statement from his campaign.
No additional details about the visit were immediately available.
Biden last brought his campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination to Pittsburgh in April.
He visited the Teamsters Local 249 banquet hall on Butler Street in Lawrenceville with his wife, Jill, speaking before an audience of about 600 people.
“I also came here because, quite frankly folks, if I’m going to be able to beat Donald Trump in 2020, it’s going to happen here,” Biden said at the event in April. “With your help, I think we’re going to be able to do that.”
An August survey from Franklin & Marshall College showed that among Pennsylvania voters, Biden is the favorite of the 19 candidates vying for the Democratic nomination.
An average of national polls compiled by Real Clear Politics also shows Biden leading the pack, polling at 28.4%.
