It might feel a little like winter on June 21, the longest day of the year.

Snowballs will fly on the North Side outside of the Carnegie Science Center for the annual Snowball Day.

Visitors who bring snowballs they created over winter and stashed in their freezesr, can name their admission price.

This event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. generally brings in hundreds of snowballs.

In addition to hurling snowballs in the Ohio River, there will be other snowy activities. Visitors can also learn about the science of ice cream at “Science in a Scoop” in the BodyStage.

Snowball Day is sponsored by WISH 99.7.
