Lawrenceville-based KSWA's fan fest and toy drive set for Saturday at Spirit Hall
Professional wrestlers from a Lawrenceville-based promotion are ready to rumble this weekend so children can have a happy holiday.
Keystone State Wrestling Alliance will host its 11th annual Fan Fest and Holiday Toy Drive at 5 p.m. Saturday at Spirit Hall off 51st Street.
Guests are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to the show. The toy drive is in conjunction with the Allegheny County Department of Human Services’ holiday project, which provides toys and other necessities to children and families.
Admission is $10 with tickets available at the door. Four championship matches are on the ticket.
Tag team champs Shawn Blanchard and “Dr. Devastation” Lou Martin, also known as the VIP’s, will defend their titles against Mitch Napier and Brohemoth, known to fans as the Best Bros Around.
The KSWA Five Star title is up for grabs in a five-way bout between Sly Scarpone, Zak Hunter, J Ru, Lucio Deveer and Malakai Cage.
Golden Triangle champ and Pittsburgh radio icon Bubba the Bulldog will take on Shane Starr.
The KSWA heavyweight champ will be crowned in what promises to be the best battle between bald guys since “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Anthony Alexander battles Dennis Gregory for the coveted title.
Careers may come to an end as local wrestling legend T-Rantula and “Big Country” Matt McGraw clash with Jack Massacre and Mike Malachi in a Loser Leaves KSWA match.
Fan favorite Yinza will wrestle “The King” Del Douglas, and pro wrestling legend Bob Backlund will be on hand as the promotion’s special guest.
Cards are subject to change. Go to kswa.net for more information.
