Man critical after being shot in Pittsburgh's North Side
A man was in critical but stable condition Thursday night after he was shot in Pittsburgh’s North Side neighborhood.
City public safety officials said officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert for shots fired shortly after 9 p.m. along the 2600 block of Linwood Avenue.
Police are investigating after a man was shot on the North Side just after 9 p.m. on 03/26/20.
He was transported to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
Major Crimes and the Crime Scene Unit are investigating at Linwood Ave. & Luray St.

Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip area.
Police are searching for a dark grey Ford Focus with two to three people inside in connection with the incident, according to officials.
That vehicle also reportedly hit a parked car as it fled. Detectives from the city’s Major Crimes and the Crime Scene Unit are processing the scene at Linwood Avenue near Luray Street.
The investigation is ongoing.
