Authorities seek man who escaped police custody in Pittsburgh

Police are searching for a suspect who escaped custody in Pittsburgh on Monday.

Authorities said Robert Logsdon, 22, was in custody with a constable heading to the Allegheny County Jail on three arrest warrants when he got out of the vehicle at the intersection of Fort Pitt Boulevard and Stanwix Street around 6:25 p.m.

He’s described as a white man standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

Logsdon has a tattoo of a small cross under his left eye. He was last seen wearing a black sleeveless shirt and dark pants on Stanwix Street between Fourth and Forbes Avenue.

Anyone with information about Logsdon’s whereabouts should contact the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office at 412-350-4714 or 911.
