Man in critical condition after being shot in Pittsburgh

A man was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot in the chest in Pittsburgh.

City police said officers responded to a call for a man being driven to a local hospital after being shoot around 2:15 p.m. Monday.

Police found the vehicle and victim along the 6300 block of Penn Avenue.

The man was then taken to an area hospital for treatment of at least one gunshot wound.

Police said they’re also investigating a possible crime scene related to the shooting along the 1500 block of Westmoreland Avenue.

No information about possible suspects was released.
