A man was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot in Pittsburgh’s North Side.

City police said they responded to a ShotSpotter notification of gunfire near the intersection of Brighton Road and Woods Run Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Monday.

The responding officer did not find a victim nor a suspect, but identified a possible shooting scene with broken glass and blood.

Police said a 30-year-old man walked into a local hospital with a gunshot wound shortly after.

The victim was shot at least once in the leg. The city’s Violent Crime Unit and Mobile Crime Unit detectives were called to the scene.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the shooting should contact Pittsburgh police at 412-323-7800.
