A man was admitted in stable condition to a local hospital following a shooting Monday night in Pittsburgh’s Hill District.

City police said they found a crime scene but no victim when they responded to a ShotSpotter alert of multiple shots fired at about 8:10 p.m. in the 2100 block of White Hill Street.

But police linked the shooting to a man who drove himself to the hospital after suffering two gunshot wounds, to an arm and a hip.

Further details, including the name of the victim, weren’t immediately available.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact city detectives in the Violent Crime Unit at 412-323-7161.
