A street fight late Monday in Mount Oliver left one man with multiple gunshot wounds, according to Allegheny County police.

A 20-year-old victim was listed in stable condition at a Pittsburgh hospital, Lt. Ken Ruckel said.

His name has not been released.

The incident happened at 10:34 p.m. on Margaret Street.

Ruckel said Allegheny County dispatchers received several calls reporting shots fired in the 100 block of the road. There were other calls reporting a man shot.

The victim was transported in a private vehicle to an ambulance and then on to a local hospital, Ruckel said.

County police learned there was a fight that involved several people on the street prior to the shooting. The investigation continues.

Anyone with information is asked to call the county police tipline at 833-255-8477. Officers can also be reached on social media.
