A man questioned by police in the shooting death of a Pittsburgh woman was found dead Friday in a Mt. Oliver home.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as George Daniel, 58. The medical examiner late Friday ruled his death a suicide. The ME’s office said he died late Thursday.

Daniel had been questioned by police in connection with the Dec. 17 shooting of Ladea Terrell in Penn Hills.

Terrell, 33, died Wednesday, weeks after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.

Her shooting occurred around 9:15 p.m. along the 200 block of Eastgate Drive.

Police said Daniel drove himself to Pittsburgh police headquarters that evening and he was questioned and released.

Police continue to investigate Terrell’s murder.
