Pittsburgh police are investigating a possible shooting early Saturday near where Mt. Oliver meets the city’s Carrick neighborhood.

A man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder walked into the Mt. Oliver police station around 3:15 a.m., Department of Public Safety spokesman Chris Togneri said.

He was taken by medics to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, according to Pittsburgh police.

The man told police that he had been shot near the intersection of Brownsville Road and East Meyers Street, Togneri said.

Pittsburgh detectives are investigating.
