A man walked into a Pittsburgh area hospital after being shot Monday night.

City police officials said officers responded to the 200 block of North Aiken Avenue around 8:20 p.m. for a ShotSpotter alert of gunfire.

Multiple homes were struck by gunfire, but a victim was not found, officials said.

A man with multiple gunshots to his lower body walked into a hospital about an hour later, officials said.

He was admitted in stable condition. Police are investigating.
