Police are searching for a masked man dressed in black they believed robbed a business in Shadyside just after 11:30 p.m. Monday.

An employee was mopping the floor when a man came into the store and put a handgun to his back, Pittsburgh police said. The man demanded cash, grabbed cigarettes and put everything into a black plastic bag before running out the front door, police said.

No one was hurt.

The store wasn’t named. It is in the 5700 block of Ellsworth Avenue, police said.

A black ski mask covered the man’s face to his nose and he was otherwise dressed in black, police said.
