McCandless Giant Eagle employee tests positive for covid-19

An employee of the McCandless Giant Eagle has tested positive for covid-19.

A Giant Eagle spokesman confirmed Monday that a worker at the McIntyre Center location tested positive. The store remains open. No other details were available.

Allegheny County officials reported 218 new coronavirus cases Monday.
