Allegheny County sheriff’s deputies arrested a McKeesport man Wednesday on allegations of possessing drugs and sexually assaulting a female employee at the Hilltop Inn in Kennedy Township.

Maurice Ebore, 39, was taken to the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh to await arraignment.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were at the hotel just before 3 p.m., to serve an unrelated Protection From Abuse order, when the employee ran toward them and claimed a man had attempted to rape her in one of the rooms.

Ebore answered the door of the room and was identified as the alleged assailant by the employee, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies spotted suspected crack cocaine and marijuana in the room and seized the suspected drugs after obtaining a search warrant.
