A mutli-vehicle crash snarled rush hour traffic on Route 28 in Millvale on Wednesday evening.
The crash in the northbound lane near the Fox Chapel exit was reported shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday, dispatchers said.
Police, fire and EMS were sent to the scene.
It is unknown how many cars were involved or how many people were injured.
The crash scene was cleared within about 45 minutes.
Millvale: Motor vehicle crash - Route 28 north in the area of the old Millvale Industrial Park between 31st St Bridge and 40th St Bridge. Traffic is restricted to one lane north and south.
