Flames destroyed a home in Duquesne early Monday morning, authorities said.

The house on Priscilla Avenue might have been abandoned, according to Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV

Authorities called the fire suspicious, according to the TV station.

Emergency dispatchers received word of the fire about 4:30 a.m., a supervisor said.

No injuries were reported.

Responding firefighters had to contend with high winds. Several roads were closed in the area.

Flames at one point were shooting from the house. The fire burned through the roof.
