Traffic approaching the Squirrel Hill Tunnels is moving slowly in both directions Saturday afternoon, the result of residual delays following a multi-vehicle crash.

Officials for PennDOT announced via Twitter that the crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of the Parkway East shortly after 2 p.m., near the Beechwood Boulevard exit and a nearby service entrance road.

Emergency dispatch supervisors in Allegheny County said no one involved in the crash was transported from the scene for injuries.

Westbound traffic was backed up roughly to Forest Hills as of 3:15 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, according to PennDOT traffic cameras.
