No one hurt when roof catches fire in Oakland
No one was hurt when a roof caught on fire early Sunday morning in Oakland, a Pittsburgh public safety spokesman said.
The residential fire was reported around 4 a.m. on the 200 block of Robinson Street.
When firefighters arrived, they found the roof on fire and downed power lines on the roof, according to Chris Togneri, public safety spokesman.
Togneri said the blaze went to two alarms about an hour after it was reported, but crews were able to put it out after Duquesne Light shut off power to the lines.
The Fire Investigation Unit, which made up of police detectives and fire investigators, will determine the cause of the fire.
