Police looking for suspects who robbed Overbrook personal care home
Two armed men robbed a personal care home in Overbrook early Thursday in pursuit of narcotics, according to Pittsburgh police.
The robbery was reported shortly after 3 a.m. at a personal care home on the 2400 block of St. Norberts Street.
Police didn’t provide the name of the facility. Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV said it was Norbert Personal Care Home. A woman who answered the phone at the Norbert Personal Care home said the facility had no comment.
Police said the two men entered the facility, demanded narcotics from staff members, then fled in a dark-colored SUV. Police didn’t say what the men were armed with or if anyone was injured. Police did not report if anything was stolen. The investigation continues.
